Every Child. Every Story Matters.

Is your child struggling with social skills or facing challenges in Pre-K or Kindergarten? You're not alone. Post-pandemic, more children are finding it difficult to navigate the complexities of emotions, behavior, and relationships. But there's hope. Red Cardigan Kids is here to provide the support your child needs to thrive emotionally and socially.

What is Red Cardigan Kids Group Coaching?

At Red Cardigan Kids, we offer a small-group coaching experience designed to help children feel emotionally seen, heard, and understood. Grounded in the proven, research-based framework detailed in Wysteria Edwards’ book, Waiting for Mister Rogers: Teaching with Attachment, Attunement, and Intention, this program goes deep into the pedagogy of Simple & Deep™ and the philosophies of Fred McFeeley Rogers from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Now, your child will benefit from Wysteria's guidance and care in a small-group setting with only 6 children per group, ensuring personalized attention.

What You Can Expect:

1. Social Skills and Emotional Regulation
Each session is crafted to help your child navigate their big feelings, understand personal space, and develop empathy. We’ll practice managing emotions, building confidence, and creating meaningful relationships through interactive group play and activities.

2. Personalized Attention in a Group Setting
With small group sizes of only 6 children, your child will benefit from peer learning while still receiving personalized guidance. They’ll have the opportunity to build friendships, practice new skills, and grow emotionally in a safe and supportive environment.

3. Hands-On Learning through Storytelling & Play
Children learn best when they’re engaged! Our sessions are full of creative expression, storytelling, role-playing, and games that will teach problem-solving and social skills in a way that’s fun and age-appropriate.

4. Parent Support
As a parent, you play a vital role in your child’s growth. That’s why we offer optional coaching for parents, equipping you with tools and insights to reinforce what your child is learning in the program. Together, we’ll ensure your child’s emotional development is supported at home and beyond.

5. Flexible In-Person and Online Options
We understand the need for flexibility. Red Cardigan Kids offers both in-person and online group coaching, so your child can participate no matter where you are.
